How I make my MMD videos using Motion Data!

Hello! I shall be showing you how I make my MMD videos when using a motion data that someone has already made!

When you open up MMD it should look like this. (Depending on what version there is atm you're reading this)

First thing I do is load my model I am going to use. In the Model Manipulation box Click Load. A new box should appear with all of the models you have, I should explain that when you download models or anything else you need to find the MikuMikuDance folder and then put them where they belong such as, Motion and Camera should be in the Motion Folder, Stages and Accessories should be Accessories folder etc.

A box will appear sometimes it will be English, Japanese and sometimes you won't be able to understand it at all but just press OK.

And Voila! I'm using SetsunagaoP's Eren Model from Attack On Titan.

To be able to see the model properly in this mode go to Bone Manipulation and click Select

Using the Right button on your mouse you can move around in all directions.

To get rid of the grid on the floor click on View and click on Display Coordinate axis or press G to get rid of it or to reveal it if you want it for some reason!

Also in View I go and change the Thickness of Edge Line or I just press E.

Using the scroll you can make the thickness change, 2.0 being the thickest.

Going down to it's lowest is 0.0 makes it look like this and this is how I always make mine look like.

Next thing I do is find a Motion Data I am going to use. I do this by clicking on File and then going to Load Motion Data or M for short. After that I find the one I want to use also Motion Data files are always VMD. I chose to go with Bye Bye Baby Sayonara

A lot of the time when you have motion data, it will come out like this if it was originally Japanese. Not all the time, but half of my folders are in this jibberish. You just have to find out which one you need.

And then you wait for it to load, it can take some time but sometimes it can start instantly depending on how big the motion data is. If you want to load the Camera Motion you need to go back to Model Manipulation and change the thing you are one to Camera/Light/Accessory and then go to File, Load Motion Data and find the Camera Motion you want.

Time for the music! In File click on Load Wav File or W. Remember that all the music has to be set in on Wave file for it to work on MMD.

To add some sort of stage you can use a VMD file but today I am going to use a X file. X files are usually Stages, Accessories and effects
Go to Accessory Manipulation and click Load.

Your Stage should appear then!

Once I am happy with my piece I have done it is time to render it! Click Render to AVI file.

At this part you have to put 0~(How man frames there in the motion you are using) I decided to put 1000 frames.

When it's Rendering it should look like this, it doesn't take long a few minutes.

After putting it through WMM this is what it looks like. You can't just upload the video from it being rendered because the file is too big.

And that's it! It's nothing too techinaical it's literally how I simply make a video.

Pudding out!

Back into making MMD videos~

Recently I have been making MMD videos again and I'm really enjoying it. I love making them because it's so fun~

I used to make MMD videos all the time about 2 years ago but for some reason I just stopped and here I am again making them~

The video above is one of my first MMD videos I made and as you can see, I had no idea what I was doing with MMD (I still don't really, but I can say I have got better).

I will make a post on showing you how I make my MMD videos soon!

I will upload my videos onto this website for the time being because it's so much quicker from uploading it onto YouTube and my internet is not that good when there are 3 people constantly using it.
I just uploaded a new video in a long time today also!
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm24081500  It's of one of my favourite characters from Dragon Ball z!

Friday Review - Master Stars Piece - Portgas D. Ace (One Piece) Figure.

Friday Review~!

This week, I'm Reviewing another Figure that I have! This time it is one of my favourite characters!
I saw this figure popping up in places and I fell in love with in instantly so I looked around to see if I could buy anywhere, I really didn't want to buy from a Japanese website or an american one because of customs. I could have had the worst shipping option possible but I decided that I didn't want to risk this figure getting lost or broken whilst on the way here from overseas, because it does happen.

So I decided to look around on Ebay because there are a few in the European union that look legit. I don't have to pay for customs from items in the European union, so it's perfect.

Eventually looking around, I found a seller who was selling the figure for a reasonable price, with free shopping too! They also sold other figures that caught my interest. It was from Italy too which didn't take long at all, about three days!

Anyway! Time to show you some pictures of this beauty~!

This is the front of the box and it's such a nice box that it is up with my figures on the shelf.
The box was taped up properly and it was not damaged at all.

The behind of the box is also very appealing, it
shows the back of the figure and it gives you details which are in Japanese and shows his tattoo.

Inside the box it came in 5 separate bags, one for his head, torso, legs, hat and dagger.
I had to assemble them together which was very easy to do. The dagger was a bit fiddly but once it was in place it was perfect.

Once you had put it all together the figure itself is bigger than the box, it doesn't come with a stand because it stands up by itself, It's a bit wobbly but only if you knock by accident.
His tattoo is really clear
Look at those muscles.

This figure is on fire.

This figure is just amazing and every One Piece fan should have one!
The flames on his arms are definitely one of my favourite things about the figure because they look so nice and high quality. The hat, can also be taken off but I like to have it on his back in my opinion.

I would give you a link to the product but I brought it from Ebay and the seller doesn't sell it any more, but I can guarantee that you will find it somewhere because it's really nice.

My rating would be; 8/10.

This figure is also the largest figure I have! This is the figure beside my face, it's 26cm which is bigger than my POP Sanji figure.

All the pictures shown in this Review are all taken by myself.

Well that's it ducklings~

 Grace out!

Friday Review - The Art of Bioshock Infinite

Friday Review~!

Right, the first thing you need to know about me is that I love art and I love Hardback books. Put the two together and you have one of my favourite things.
So when I see a hardback book of something I adore I just have to get it.

So this week, I shall be reviewing this lovely thing.

I am a huge fan of Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite and I had added this to my wishlist when it was released but I never got around to buying it back then and a few weeks ago I decided to buy it, and it was so worth it.
Everything about it is just wonderful, the drawings, the colouring, the cover of the book, I just love it.

As you can see from the above picture there is a lot of concept art in this book and it's just amazing to see how a character is created. All the different styles they could have gone with but instead went with another.

The printing in the book is also very high quality which adds to the magnificent art work throughout the book.

This Art Book is published by Dark Horse which is now definitely one of my favourite publisher. Just now looking through some things they have a lot of things that I would love to buy and I probably will in the near future.

Now for the price, I brought this book at the price of £22.49 at the time, looking at the price of it now it has only gone up by £3. I brought this book at Amazon because Amazon is a very reliable website. If you want to buy it, here's the link
I would actually say that this book should be a lot more because of how outstanding it is, the art, the quality of the book itself, it shocked me because for something so pretty and well put together is so cheap.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, Bioshock fan or not.

It definitely goes well with my collection of Hard Back books.

Well that's it! Thanks for reading my Review of The Art of Bioshock Infinite. I hope you enjoyed it!

All the pictures shown in this Review are all taken by myself.

Well that's it ducklings~

Friday Review - (Figuarts Zero) One Piece Monkey D. Luffy (New World Ver.) - Figure Review!

Friday Review~!

This figure was the first figure I brought that was a  proper figure, not an £8 fake from a Convention.
When I was looking for some One Piece figures to buy they were all so expensive, like £60-100 expensive but when I saw this figure it was a reasonable price and also really nice.
The box it came in was really simple and nice.

(Sorry this isn't the best picture)

Taking it out I knew straight away that it was a really nice figure, it's around 15cm.
It was lovely and all but however I did have some trouble putting the figure on the stand with the pegs on his feet, in the end my Brother did it.

And there he is~ Monkey D. Luffy~ It really is a nice figure. Right, you want to know how much it was, in yen it was 1260 which came to £7.25, including shipping it came to  £26.59.
Yes, that is the problem with buying Japanese figures, the shipping, also customs, but I shall tell you about my custom disasters another time.
However this time, I did not have any problem with customs with this purchase. (I must have been lucky)

I brought this figure at CDJapan, but I don't think they have it on the website anymore, I did buy this in October last year. But if you want to see what other figures they have, here's the link!
>>Click Me!<< They have a lot of shipping choices, which is lovely and I haven't had a bad experience with them. (I have also brought books and CDs from them and it's been fine, only had problem with customs which isn't their fault)

Overall Good figure! Defiantly recommend it! Just make sure to know you're buying a real one, not a fake one, there are so many fakes on the internet.

Well that's it ducklings~

Hello!

Hello! This the beggening of my new blog!

This blog will be the start of everything. (I hope)

I will be posting about my adventures around the place and maybe other things. To tell you the truth I have no idea what's going to be on here but doesn't that make it more exiciting?

It's quite funny how I had already come up with my blogging name before my Mum decided to hatch some ducks, the picture above is of Scoot! Me and my brother named him after the duck in Animal crossing. It fits him perfectly really. He scoots around so much.

Anyway, that's it for it now! I will post some time again!
Bye~
